The Pleiades Star Cluster – The “Seven Little Sisters”
This beautiful photograph of The Pleiades conveys not only the image, but also the energies of this magnificent Star Cluster.
Many of the indigenous people of the Americas (and countless other civilizations around the globe) have included many stories about The Pleiades in their ancient legends, which have been passed down from generation to generation – from the time when they say that “The Star People” came from the sky and walked among them, as teachers, mentors, guides, and in some cases, builders of monuments across the face of Earth.
“And they shall come again,” is the ancient prophecy.
About the Pictures in the Header:
Photography in rotating header is by Peter Klein of the Sacred Site “Huerfano Butte” at the Winter Solstice of December 21st, 2010. The images are of the Full Moon rising, and the setting of the Sun on this incredibly powerful and beautiful day. This site, which is located south of Tucson, Arizona, contains many Petroglyphs done by the Ancient Ones of this area, and is aligned with the sacred mountain, Baboquivari to the west.
