Channel’s Note:  There had been a discussion of Lady Portia’s recommendations for navigating the energies and events of the year 2019, in her article “Nurture the Heart’s Understanding,” published in the Sedona Journal’s 2019 Predictions Issue, and when Count St. Germain was invited to provide his perspectives regarding 2019, he gave the following message, which is timeless information:

Realize the Importance of Making Conscious Decisions!

It is very good that you are thinking about all of these things, because we can tell you that the changes that will be happening this year will be even greater than those that have so far been described for you! And this is Count St. Germain speaking with you, and I wanted to come forward this evening to give you some further information in regard to making the highest and best choices for this coming year.

Portia has given you much information on this subject, but my information is a little different, in that I put the emphasis on certain things in a slightly different way. So perhaps we are talking about the same thing, but it does sound different when it is described. First of all, I want to say to you that you cannot put too much emphasis on consciously realizing the decisions that you are making this year, and recognizing the importance of these decisions that you will be making.

Recognize Areas Where You Are NOT Making Decisions

However, in a negative sense, it will be immensely beneficial for you to recognize the importance of the areas where you have chosen NOT to make decisions! And, for some of you, this involves areas of hidden knowledge — where perhaps you are very hesitant to go into these areas and have a look around! Perhaps there are things in these areas that you do not feel comfortable with contacting, and so you are unconsciously avoiding them, or perhaps you are a little afraid of going into some of these areas. However, be aware that it can be immensely beneficial for you to connect with the information contained within these areas.

Sometimes, you have decided to avoid or ignore this important information, because, perhaps, it seems threatening in some way to your previously-held belief systems about the nature of reality.  Sometimes, this information can cause you to shift and update your belief systems.  It may challenge your previously held, and sometimes erroneous, beliefs about the nature of reality, or it may encourage you to make decisions in areas that you have been avoiding.  At any rate, usually this type of “hidden information” can be a stimulus for growth in your knowledge and perspectives about many things which may be important to you personally, and to your wellbeing.

Reactive Energies Can Cause “Domino Effects”

I can tell you now that these are the areas that you will all need to pay attention to during this coming year, in order to have a “smooth trip” through this year and to keep things “in hand,” meaning “under your conscious control,” so that one thing does not spiral out of control and then cause a domino effect to occur across several more areas of your life which are being affected by this process.

This type of thing often happens in people’s lives when the energies have become as they are now – when everything is very reactive.  One thing quickly reacts to another, and then there is not a great deal of stability within any area of people’s lives – or within your society as a whole. Everything has become very reactive now, and this has an effect on the way the energies are being downloaded to earth, that is a good way to describe this, and the way the earth is receiving the energies which are coming to affect her.

This is a highly technical picture I am looking at, and there are so many variables within this scenario! This is precisely why very few people are giving their forecasts for what they expect to happen in any of these areas. Most people who really know what they are talking about are saying, “Well, let’s wait and see what happens in the beginning, before we make too many forecasts about anything further that we are expecting to happen.”

This is true in the financial sectors, and in any of these areas — even in your military decisions that are being made. Everything is on a “wait and see” basis. Day by day, decisions are being made at the last minute on many things, and I expect you will see things continue to be this way for the entirety of this year, because things are not going to become more stable. It is going the other way – towards more instability, and more highly reactive scenarios.

Avoid Long-Range Plans Where Possible

This situation of instability is what I am describing to you now, so that you can adjust your beliefs and your understanding about how things will unfold this year, and what you can expect to happen. Indeed, some people like to look off into the distance and make long-range plans, and this is how some people have decided they like to operate. But I can tell you that, at least in this particular timeframe that we are discussing here, it is far more beneficial to take a “wait and see” attitude, and then, at the last possible minute, to make your necessary decision.  And, when you do decide on a course of action, have this be more in short-range decisions – short time frames, you see — because the effects of many unknown variables will continue to “appear on the horizon,” shall we say, of what you are able to perceive.

Due to this set of circumstances, you won’t always know what is getting ready to happen, and that is my main point to you! During this entire year you will never be able to make a long-range forecast with any degree of accuracy!  And those who claim to do so simply don’t know what it is that they are doing, because those who know will be telling you the same thing that I am telling you now, that this year is going to be very unpredictable, and that is a good way to describe it.  You will find that it is “highly changeable with a low degree of predictability being possible,” in regard to planning for the future.

Any long-range planning is doomed to outright failure! And so, for those who like to make long-range plans, you will need to learn to modify your preferred methods of operation, I would say. And do not be upset about it, because this type of activity is actually going to create some very fine opportunities for the people who have learned to modify their expectations and their preferred methods of operation – in order to better fit the manner in which you see the future coming over the horizon, as you might say, to a place where you are able to perceive what is coming toward you.

In addition, those who employ the strategy of “waiting to see the whites of their eyes,” before making decisions will find that this will be the beneficial strategy in this year, even in financial situations, because this method of operation is what will give the greatest benefit “across the board,” as you might say.  (Note: “Don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes” is an expression which generally means “Don’t react to a situation too quickly or too early.” This often-repeated caution comes from an order believed to have been given by American officer William Prescott at the Battle of Bunker Hill in the American Revolutionary War.)

This strategy has broad applicability — in that, if you remember this one thing, you will have 90% of what you will need in order to be truly effective in your personal life, your business affairs, and in any areas of your activities where you are going to need to make any type of forecast of what is coming, so that you can plan, personally or financially, to successfully account for any eventualities.

“Unknown Factors” Will Be Appearing

Obviously, I am just giving you some information which may well be broadly applied in any area of your life which you have under consideration.  And I believe that I have touched on the most important areas of this subject.  But be aware that for each of you, each individual person, there will be the unknown activities, the unknown factors and aspects, rearing their heads for you at the most unexpected times, and requiring that you respond to them!  And it will be different for everyone, as you might well imagine.

“Decide in Haste – Repent at Leisure!”

This subject of how to respond to the total unpredictability of coming events is an area where “one size does not fit all,” so it is very difficult to give meaningful discussion regarding how one might judge the best ways to respond to these unforeseen events. But I will tell you that it is best if you do not decide in haste upon a course which you will then be committed to following for a long period of time. And that may appear to be simply “common sense,” but you would be surprised at the great number of “otherwise thoughtful and intelligent people” who, when they are faced with feeling that they have to make a fast decision, see this perspective “go out the window!” And quickly!

And so, do not allow anything to rush you in the process of making decisions, especially financial decisions. And, if you feel pressured, the fact that there is “more pressure” is an indication of there being an increased need to take plenty of time to evaluate a situation. And that is just a natural law that I am elucidating upon here, because sometimes it is so overlooked in human activities – particularly in areas of what people consider to be important considerations or decisions.

Take your time! If you are having to make important decisions, do not be rushed – particularly if people, such as advisors, are coming up with a lot of reasons why you should be in a big hurry to do whatever it is that they are recommending for you to do. The more “a sense of urgency” that they are creating, the more this would indicate to me, as your advisor, a need for going slowly, and carefully evaluating all aspects of a situation – particularly those that you may have overlooked or forgotten.

And I hope you do write all of this down and put this into a comprehensible list for yourselves, because I might modestly say that this may be some of the most valuable information that you will receive regarding the events of the coming year.  Many people will not be telling you this, and saying to you what I am saying, because you all have people in your lives that have their own opinions! Sometimes they do not mean to overstep the boundaries or to give invalid information — but remember this, they only have the perspective of the human being who is involved in giving you this forewarning of outer events, or something such as this.

Keep Your Wits About You!

All of you will need to keep your wits about you, particularly in this year, because some people will come to financial ruin for not having heard this message, and, as a result, acting inappropriately and in haste on the basis of inaccurate or overlooked information. And so, I have just given this talk in the hopes that it may benefit some of you – some who hear this message – and give you “cause to pause” before jumping off a cliff, so to speak, because of mass hysteria — or doing something because everyone else thinks it is a very good idea, to do it “that way,” or at “that time,” or involving “these certain circumstances,” you see.

A Fast and Unpredictable Year

Be wise!  Think twice before you take any action this year, because things will be moving at such a fast pace that, by the time you have evaluated a certain set of circumstances, I’m afraid that when you have made your decision, if you look behind you, everything will have changed! It will be that fast this year, and that unpredictable! You will be, as they say, “flying by the seat of your pants,” I think, for much of the time this year. But it will be an interesting year! And that is one of the redeeming aspects of all of these challenges, because you will not be bored. And those of you who like entertainment, will find it – in abundance!

So, be wise, as they say: “Wise as the serpent, and harmless as the dove.” And may you find what it is that you are seeking in this year of such opportunity!  And that is all I will say about it – now you are on your own to deal with it.
